FAQs
How are tutors paid?
Payments are made directly to the tutor, not through our site, so these arrangements can be made with your tutor. Revolut is the method used most often.
Does EnglishGrinds.com only offer online tuition?
Yes, since the Covid-19 pandemic we have only offered one-to-one online tuition. For a variety of reasons this has proved preferable for tutors and students alike.
Does EnglishGrinds.com have tutors from abroad with zero knowledge of the Irish education system?
We understand that this is a major problem on our competitor sites. We have never had tutors of this type and never will.
Our unique model means that, unlike our competitors, it would never be in our interests to allocate tuitions to tutors like this.
If I wished to change a tutor, would there be an additional charge?
This happens very seldom, but if it did, there would certainly be no charge for this.
